SAOL PROJECT ADMINISTRATION ROLE
_The SAOL project is a community-based programme for women in
treatment for drug addiction and trauma related to poverty, Domestic
Sexual and Gender Based violence, Mental Health and systemic
marginalization. The service works primarily with Women from the North
Inner City of Dublin. __The women who attend our project have arrived
here as a result of psychosocial problems relating to their
experiences and their addiction. __The You Choose programme aims to
create a positive meaningful change in the women?s lives through an
integrated programme of education, rehabilitation, advocacy, childcare
provision, progression and trauma informed supports which addresses
quality of life for the women engaged in the programme. The
project?s ethos is informed by respect for the dignity of each
individual woman, their stories then, now and their future story._
The SAOL Project wish to recruit a Senior Administrator on a Part Time
Basis (**Apply on the website** hours per Week) SAOL require a person
fully proficient in the following, someone who is willing to be a team
member of a dynamic changing team in a busy Community Development
Project dedicated to Feminist Principals. The successful candidate
must have demonstrated experience in the following areas
EXPERIENCE IN USING:
* Quickbooks Accounting Software
* Collsoft Payroll Software
* Online Banking
GENERAL ACCOUNTS:
* Review funding streams, calculate and journal various activities.
* Quarterly and end of year multi-accounts review, reconciliation
and budget update
* Preparing for and working with auditor on company audit
* Preparing overall and project specific budgets
RESPONSIBLE FOR FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS TO FUNDERS
* Responding to HSE general audit queries
* Completing HSE annual financial monitoring return.
* NICDTF financial returns.
* Probation quarterly financial return and reconciliation.
* Managing BRIO spend within probation main budget.
* Pobal childcare income applications and four monthly returns.
* Rethink Ireland returns
SMALLER GRANTS
* Management of smaller grants and their associated specific spend
(e.g. CDYSB, UN Poverty Grant, Fitness for Work and Life, National
Lottery, Community Spirit Award and others)
OTHER
* Management of sessional workers hours/payment; staff totals for
holidays and attendance; insurance cover; CRO dealings; Charities
Regulator dealings.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
* Must be a team player and be committed to the work of the SAOL
Project.
* Be adaptable and willing to respond to changing situations.
* An ability to multitask and contribute to the work of the SAOL
Project.
* Be pleasant friendly and demonstrate a respectful warm
interpersonal skill particularly in any dealings with the community of
Women and Children the SAOL project works for.
The Senior Administrator will work as part of a team and is answerable
to the Director and the Head of Services. Salary and or Hourly rate is
dependent on experience.
